    Slush Fund

    [Slush Fund]

(Slang) A secret and unregulated fund used by corporations to buy favors and bribe public officials. While illegal in most countries, a common practice overlooked partly due to a lack of oversight and of any glocalized regulatory organ, and partly to rampant corruption. Seen by many analysts as a latent function rather than a dysfunction of financial capitalism.
